Apium graveolens is a member of the Umbellifer family. No one knows where celery originated, despite claims from Sweden, New Zealand and Algeria. The celery 'Tall Utah 52/70' stalks and young leaves can be consumed. BENEFITS: Celery seed is used as a seasoning and medicine.
