Satureja Hortensis, also known as Summer Savory, is an herb, native to the Mediterranean region. Bearing a long history as a cherished seasoning, Savory is especially celebrated in Turkey, France and Italy. The flowers of the summer savory plant are white or pink and bloom in the summertime.
